QAQTO is made from recycled wood fibreboard and reclaimed natural wood, finished with several layers of a unique blend of multiple color dyes and varnish.

The original hand-dyed technique highlights the fibrous nature of the material. Imbues the fibreboard with an organic and tactile texture.

The result is a worn-out texture, very tactile that exhibits a palette of interwoven tones and a distinctive patina that adds uniqueness and character to each piece.

The distressed appearance evokes the nostalgia and the rustic charm of ancient artifacts while embracing contemporary design.
