This original art object emerges from a fusion of passionate design and meticulous craftsmanship, embodying minimalism as a poetic form of expression. Inspired by geometry and the intrinsic qualities of its materials, WORMHOLE explores the delicate balance between art and design - where simplicity becomes profound.
Two interdependent shapes hold each other in place. Alone, each would succumb to gravity; together, they find equilibrium.
The black element is crafted from wood fibreboard, hand-finished to reveal a distinctive texture, subtly distressed with maroon undertones. It gently curves to rest upon two mahogany circles - precisely carved to offer both support and resistance. While the circles prevent collapse, the black form anchors their movement, creating a dynamic tension that feels both grounded and alive.
