TOQIO

TOQIO is a wall-mounted sculpture featuring a geometric pattern carved into recycled wood fibreboard. The surface is finished in matte black with a maroon patina that highlights the carved details and adds depth to the composition.

The work emphasizes form and texture over representation. Its abstract geometry creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, while the distressed finish introduces subtle irregularities that make each piece unique.

TOQIO is produced individually, with variations in tone and surface that reflect the handcrafting process. It’s a small-format sculpture designed for close inspection and quiet presence.

The slim black frame (16mm) with beveled edges features a built-in fixing system that allows the frame to be completely flush against the wall, enhancing its elegance and minimalist appeal.
