FINUHRA

FINUHRA is a sculptural meditation on the human figure, distilled into a minimalist yet evocative form.

With its elongated silhouette and poised asymmetry, the piece invites multiple readings:
- you might see an elegant figure in quiet repose, reminiscent of a model mid-pose;
- you might perceive a profile of a body lifting something above the head - or perhaps cradling the head itself.

This duality, both graceful and contradictory, opens a space for reflection and personal interpretation.

Crafted from reclaimed wood and MDF, the sculpture is hand-finished using my own technique, resulting in a matte black surface enriched with subtle maroon undertones. The finish carries a quiet sheen, revealing delicate nuances that shift with the light. Mounted on a circular wooden base (assembled upon arrival), FINUHRA stands as both gesture and presence, balancing abstraction with emotional resonance.
