LUHNACY

I call this piece LUHNACY because to me, it feels like a figure mid-transformation, suspended between gravity and grace. There’s motion in its stillness, a kind of ritual unfolding - an abstract being drawn upward, limbs unfurling, head tilted toward something beyond. Its vertical tension suggests levitation, transformation, or perhaps a moment of lunacy under lunar pull.

Crafted from reclaimed wood and MDF, the sculpture is hand-finished using my own technique. The reddish hues are achieved with water-based dyes and matte varnish, resulting in a surface enriched with subtle texture and undertones. The finish carries a quiet sheen - revealing delicate nuances that shift with the light.
